Last Ride of the Season
Sad to say, but last Saturday we took the last four wheeling ride of the season. It was so great to get up into the mountains and see what a Cache Valley fall has to offer... and it didn't disappoint! Most of the leaves had already fallen, but it was still beautiful! Brian and Cassie were on their maiden voyage of their new Razor so we decided to take some new trails. I'm sad to see the four wheeling season end, but we've got snowshoeing season next!
Time for a Locks of Love donation
So apparently one side effect to this whole pregnancy thing for me has been that my hair is falling out- I know, I know, not a pretty picture! It was making a mess being so long so I decided it was time for to revisit short hair days. It's been over 8 years since I've had even remotely short hair and no where near this short, but hey, if you're going to do it, you might as well do it right, huh?

Our Big News
We are so excited, we have finally decided that today is the day to annouce that we are pregnant with our first baby! The baby is due March 31, 2009. I'm almost into the second trimester, so I'm starting to get a little relief from the nausea! The ultrasound on the top is baby's first picture, taken July 26th at 2 weeks old (baby and I got off to a rough start, but things are going well now :) ). The second one was taken Sept. 19 and if you look close, the baby is smiling for the camara ;)

Hardware Ranch to Randolph
This was our first trip from Harware Ranch to Randolph by ATV, and was it ever fun! We had a really great group that included: Uncle Richard, Aunt Noreene, Eric, Tom (a family friend), Brian, Cassie, Mom, Dad, and us, of course. Randolf has a nice little resturaunt, The Gator, where we took a much welcomed lunch break. Thanks for the ride guys! We'll have to do it again next year.

Camping With the Fam
Ty and Kolter's Suprise
When we got back from the Dahle Reunion, Ty and Kolter had a suprise waiting at home for them; a brand new four wheeler! It's a Yamaha Grizzley 450. It's a pretty fun machine. They've been hoping for one for a while, so we were all pretty excited for them. Of course Dustin had to go on their inital ride... they all had a great time!

My New Toy
Dustin's New Toy
Dustin's obsession has now become a reality. He's been searching and searching all over Utah for the perfect motorcycle for a couple months now... little did he know his dream was parked in the garage next door. Yes, the man that drives the fire truck in the background was the proud owner of this Honda Rebel. It was kind of a random how Dustin ended-up with it, but it now occupies a corner of our garage (when its not being ridden, of course). It has taken a bit of work, but he's almost got it where he wants it. Yeah new bike! :)
Wayne Dahle Reunion
July 18-20 marked the first official Wayne Dahle Reunion. For those who don't know, Wayne is Dustin's Grandpa. We really had a great time. It was just Dustin's mom's siblings and their families, so it was nice and cozy. We hauled Eddie (our trailer) up to American Falls, ID. We had a nice camping spot right next to the reservoir. As you can see, the main activity was boating. I think Dustin had more fun than anyone- especially when he got out on the tube by himself. Then it became a challenge between Dustin and the driver to see who was the most crazy- Dustin for holding on so long or the driver for doing such wild maneuvers to knock him off. It was a really fun weekend with the fam!

Finding Snow in July
Saturday we went on a really great four wheeler ride. It was quite the adventure to say the least. We had a great time - great being a relative term. I successfully popped my tire near the beginning of the ride and Brian successfully popped his a few miles from the end, nice goin'! We just had to laugh because after all that, my dad ran out of gas, too. I just had to wonder who the good luck charm was?!? Check out the layers of dirt caked on every inch of all of us... showers are a godsend! This was our first time out in the local mountains because of all the snow. I can't wait to go again!
