Baby in his Bumbo

Justus loves to sit-up and look around; he thinks he is so big. I decided to pull out the bumbo that we got from the girls at Dr. Binns office, just to see if he liked it and was big enough for it (I didn't think he was yet). He loves the thing and it's perfect for him to hangout with me while I get ready for the day. I just can't believe he's big enough for it! My baby's growing up!

Blessing Justus

Sunday June 7, Dustin blessed Justus. He did such a great job and Justus was an angel all day. He was awake for his blessing, just checking out the pretty lights in the chapel. We want to thank all of our friends and family for coming and supporting us... we had an amazing turn-out. Afterwards, we had rented the Cobblestone Clubhouse (which turned out to be the perfect investment because it was pouring rain all day) for a huge taco feast. It was good food, good fun, and great company. For those who asked for the black bean salsa recipe- I'll be posting that soon.

Sand Dunes

The saturday of Memorial Weekend we decided to take a little road trip down to the Little Sahara sand dunes. Brian came with us and Sherryil watched Justus (Thanks again, Sherryil!). The weather turned out perfect for a day of riding and we had so much fun. It was good to get out a do a little riding seeing as how that is probably going to be a bit limited this summer.

2 Months Already

What a sweet baby! Justus is growing so fast. He loves smiling and talking- and being held... what can I say, we have a little cuddle bug. Which is fun, unless of course, you want to get something done. He was pretty much right on track where he should be at his 2 month check for height, weight, and head circumference. We thought he was turning into a little chubby monkey with a nice round Buddha belly, but apparently he's perfect (Not that you had to tell us that ;) )!

1 Month Old

I can't believe that he's been here a whole month! Is he cute or what?! We're having so much fun with this little guy.

My sister, Jessica, came up from St. George to visit last week. We had so much fun with her here. What a great aunt! Just wish she could have stayed longer!
