Christmas...in February

I know it's been forever since I've posted. I can say I've been too busy, and mean it, but that's not really a great excuse! We had such a fun Christmas and Justus loved every minute of it. He loves the lights, the songs, Santa, the treats, and of course, the presents! We got really spoiled by Santa this year, but you won't catch any of us complaining! I figure we must have been extra good, right????

My Fruitcake

I came across this little bit and thought it was cute and appropriate for the season.
4 ways babies are like fruitcake:
#1 The minute they enter the room, they start getting passed around from person to person.
#2 They're incredibly sweet- and consider yourself warned, also can be sticky.
#3 Eighteen years later, they're often still found just sitting around your house.
#4 Everyone compliments everybody else's but secretly thinks they made the best one.

Dustin Turns 30!

Wow is he ever old! I can't believe that I married someone so much older than myself, but hey, what do you do?!? We decided to make a weekend of it and got a room in West Valley with a fun swim area. Justus didn't really get into the first day- not that I blame him, the water was freezing cold! He really wanted to go again, though so we thought we might as well. He really had a lot of fun so it's a good thing we tried again! We hit the lights at Temple Square- so beautiful! We haven't done that for a few years so it was great to go again. Justus is loving all the Christmas lights every where so we knew he'd get a kick out of it, and he did! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUSTIN!!! WE LOVE YOU!

So Thankful For....

My WoNdERfUl family!!! I couldn't ask for a better life than with my handsome husband and adorable son... and the sweet little one that we are so excited to meet. I love every second that I get to spend with them. I am truly blessed. Also on the thankful list... Jess, thanks for the pics- she does fabulous work.

My Experiment

So I'm new to the whole collage thing, yes, I know, I'm way behind the times, but hey, what can I say?! Here's my first attempt featuring the adorable pictures Jessica took of Justus when she was up.

My Cute Dinosaur

Finally, Halloween pictures! Justus had a great time being a dinosaur, especially because he got to go around saying "roar!" Pretty dang adorable!
